A linguist and translator was born in Alqosh (north of Mosul) Nineveh and studied ther the sciences and languages in 1869 he joined college of Faith popularity “propaganda” in Romm where ge graduated a priest in 1880 in 1892 was ordained bishop of Urmia (Iran) and was assassinated ther in 1918 He perfeeted Syriac,Arabic,Persian,Latin and ltalian. Mosul 1897. “The literay theology” Urmia 1899. “Tha grammar of Surath” Urmia 1911/ “poems and prayers” He translated from A rabic into Syriac “The book if Kalila and Dimna” Mosul 1895 and from Latin “The Book of education” Mosul 1889
