Societal contribution

Museums are educational, cultural and recreational institutions that contribute to the service of society, as they are concerned with the preservation and maintenance of humanity’s heritage.
Here lies its role in cultural mediation and work to develop archaeological awareness or in the dissemination of museum culture, especially in societies that have come to know the public’s aversion to cultural facilities.
Specially after the Internet has become a means of practicing museum mediation, with the aim of attracting visitors by promoting various museum holdings and familiarizing themselves with cultural heritage. Through our understanding of the societal contribution that any museum is supposed to make, we will try to highlight the importance of being a cultural mediator whose role is to promote culture, spread archaeological awareness and inspire community members to be active in preserving and maintaining their heritage and keeping away the specter of collapse from it.
