1918-1962
Storyteller, novelist and dramatist was born in Gangishin village, Urmia ,Iran. After four months of his birth his family escaped from Iran to Iraq. They settled firstly in the Camp of emigrants in Baquba. He studied at a school belonging to the church in Baghdad and did not complete his study because of the poverty of his father. He perfected Syriac, English and Arabic. In 1936 he moved with his widow mother and seven brothers to Habbaniya to work and support his big family after the death of his father. In recent years of his life he moved to work in Baghdad. He published 24 stories and novels the most important: our closed door Baghdad 1962, “Pearls infront of pigs”, “Khamis with brave Heart”, “Ninb and Shoshna”, and others. He wrote 11 plays, some represented on the stages of Habbaniya, and Baghdad, as: “The faith that mixed with blood”, “The poor”, “A house without of peace “, and others. Also he had many philosophic books, and .many missing books.
