1912-1980
Researcher historian and poet, was born in Bartulla, Nineveh and studied at St. Matti Monastery in1923. In 1931 he became a teacher of Syriac in Beirut, then sent to India in 1933 where he was ordained a priest, he was appointed headmaster of St. Oughnatios cleric school in Almalbar for 12 years. In 1964 he came back to Bartulla and worked as a teacher of Aframic cleric in Mosul. In 1950 he became abishop of Mosul archbishop.
