Alinguist amd translator from mosul was born in Amadiya Dohuk He studied at the school of his church then at school of Dominican Fathers in Mosul ,after that he Studied at Ghazir School of the gesuit Fathers in Lebanon. He traveled to Rome to continue his study where he became a priest in 1855. Then he came back to Mosul and engaged in teaching and writing the textbooks which published in the printing shop of Dominican Fathers from 1859. In 1878 he beeame bishop of Damaseus. He perfeeted Syriae Hebrew, Aradie, Turkish, Greek,Latin,Freneh,English and German and read the calligraphies of many ancient languages. He wrote 85 dooks in Arabie, Syriae,Mosul 1879 / the conjugations of Syriae verbs /The syriae reading,, Mosul 1874 /,,IIIustrate the spoken Ianguage by Christ ,,(in French)
