1944- 2008
Born in Baghdad from talkif, graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, then went to Prague in Czechoslovakia so studied the aesthetics of architecture engineering. After that he came back to Iraq and completed his studies at the College of Fine Arts in Baghdad, and received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in theater, also he had got the bachelor’s degree in English literature from Baghdad University. He was a director, actor, designer, a head of troupe (the theater of today), and a member of the Iraqi Center of the Theater), also he was a poet, plastic artist and calligrapher. He had several translations from Czech and English and vice versa as: (the actor and his work) and (epidemic white) play, and he had two collections of poetry: (the elegies of small harbors) 2002, (the elegies and poems after passing) 2011, also he had written: – (papers from New Baghdad, 2011) and other books. He was named (the saint of Iraqi theater).
