1973-1984
Cultural monthly magazine, issued in December 1973 in both Syriac and Arabic by the Cultural Association of the Syriac Speakers in Baghdad. It consisted of about 150-200 pages of small size. It dealt with poetry, prose, historical and cultural articles, and the news of Syriac societies in Iraq. It faced financial problems because it did not receive any support from the government. In 1981 after 31 issues was ceased. Sayda Hurmiz Sayda was its editor-in-chief in the first years and then Hurmiz Shisha Kola took over. Editorial Secretary was Abid Batty Abdo, and the Editorial Board included Mansour Rocel, Wadee Hanna Kajo, Jamil Ruphael, Abdul-Ahad Benyamin. It was reissued in 1973 and continued until 1984, then stopped altogether.
